# Caller Mode

## **What is Caller Mode?**

**Caller Mode** is an advanced feature designed to significantly **boost your referral earnings** by seamlessly integrating your **unique referral link** into **Solana (SOL)** token alerts within Telegram groups. It offers a powerful, automated way to attract and convert new users directly from live market activity.

## 🔧 Activating Caller Mode in Telegram Groups

To unlock Caller Mode’s full potential in your Telegram communities:

1. **Invite the Drops Bot**\
   A group admin or member should invite [**@drops**](https://t.me/drops) to the Telegram group.\

2. **Configure Alerts**\
   Set up notifications for **Solana token price changes** or **transaction activity** within that group.

Once configured, your **Caller Link** is **automatically embedded** in every Solana alert message — such as price drops, transfers, or trading signals. This link leads users directly to the **Buy section** of the mentioned token in Drops Bot.

> **Important:** If the bot is removed and re-added to a group, the **Caller Link will reset**. The user who invited the bot most recently becomes the active referrer.

**Example of a Caller Link in an Alert:**

## 💸 Earnings from Caller Mode

Caller Mode unlocks **exceptional commissions** from trading activity:

* **Referral Assignment**\
  If the user doesn’t have an active referrer, they are **permanently assigned to you** after clicking your Caller Link and completing a trade.
* **Commission Override**\
  When a user trades via your Caller Link, you receive **40% of the trading fee**, even if they already have a referrer.\
  In such cases, the **original referrer is bypassed**, and **you receive the full commission**.

Users referred via Caller Mode do **not receive trading discounts**. The **10% discount** applies only to users you **invite directly** via your referral link or code.

## ⚙️ Managing Caller Mode Settings

Caller Mode settings are available in the bot’s main **Settings** section.

**To access:**

1. Open the bot’s **Main Menu**
2. Tap "⚙️ **Settings"**
3. Tap the "**☎️ Caller Mode"** button

This section includes:

* A link to the **`Buy` Trading section** of a specific token
* A direct link to [**add the bot to a group**](/etherdrops-bot/advanced-tools/bot-for-groups-and-channels.md#how-to-add-the-bot-to-a-group)

## 📤 Sharing Your Caller Link from the Buy Section

When Caller Mode is **enabled**:

* In the `/buy` section of any Solana token, you'll see a **☎️ Share Caller Link** button
* **To copy your unique link:**
  * On **mobile devices**, **long-press** the button to copy it to your clipboard.
  * On **desktop**, **right-click** the button and select **“Copy link”**.
* If Caller Mode is **disabled**, the button will not be shown
